Spring is here!

We decided to celebrate the arrival of spring by making some spring cookies. Anyone who knows me knows I will use any excuse to make a good cookie! Hayden loved helping! I can hardly wait until it is time for Christmas baking, I think he will love it!

Focus on the Family

We had the opportunity to attend the Focus on Marriage conference over the weekend. The speakers were amazing...Francis Chan (we're reading Crazy Love right now so it was awesome to hear him speak), Les and Leslie Parrot, Gary Chapman, Gary Thomas, Kirk and Chelsea Cameron (yes, from Growing Pains), Juli Slattery and Stephen Kendrick (who wrote the Love Dare and directed Fireproof).

We went with our friends Jason and Jenna Pfaff. They knew someone at Focus on the Family and he got us front row seats. Such a great time, despite being sick the whole day! We will definitely go again next year!

Happy Valentines Day

After I got to sleep in (until 7:30...hey, I'll take what I can get) I was greeted by this lovely sight.A yummy chocolate donut and raspberries, but the best part was the coffee! My boys know how to make me smile!

Hayden enjoyed it too. He came in from the store with Daddy saying, "sugar, sugar". Can you tell he rarely gets that?!
