We decided to celebrate the arrival of spring by making some spring cookies. Anyone who knows me knows I will use any excuse to make a good cookie! Hayden loved helping! I can hardly wait until it is time for Christmas baking, I think he will love it!

They didn't turn out like I had planned but Hayden enjoyed them! 
The kids enjoyed the games, Pin the Nose on Elmo, Put Dorothy Back in her Bowl (goldfish beanbag toss) and they colored their little hearts out. 
Hayden got so many neat gifts! He is set for all kinds of fun outside this summer, he has enough trucks for the neighborhood and a new pillowcase with goodnight wishes from Elmo himself!

We spent New Year's day in Winterpark snowmobiling. Jeff and Melissa and Adam and Ashley came with us and we had a blast. It was so cold, but so beautiful! Thank you to Ray and Donna for watching all 3 boys at the same time! Next time you can come with us!

Hayden made us a gift at school this year, he came home with it wrapped and everything. We couldn't wait to open it. Isn't it adorable? I love those little chubby hands so much! What a precious gift.
Hayden, Daddy and Max got me the perfect gift...a new Coach bag!
Hayden got lots of new books for Christmas as well as a comfy chair just for him. He opened a book and said "Daddy read it", so cute to hear him starting to make sentences. 
Santa filled his stocking with lots of fun things but once he saw his crayons it was over. He didn't want to open anything else, he just wanted to color.
Hayden helped Grammy and Grandpa open their new calendar. He was so happy to see his own pictures in it, I guess it is the simple pleasures in life!
Maxwell was so happy with his new stuffed dog, he pretty much thought we forgot about him because he opened his present last. 
Hayden helped Aunt Ashley open her gifts. Every time he would tear a piece of paper off he would hand it to her and say "thank you". He was cracking us up.
Hayden got a new car from Grammy and Grandpa. It was so fun to see he and Korban play in it together.
My new Christmas dishes made the the table look so much better! Grammy and Nona were such good sports sitting at the kids table.
We had such a wonderful time with our families during the holidays. We loved starting some traditions with Hayden and can't wait to do more of that next year. 
Hayden helped Papa and Nona open their calendars that we made for them to enjoy all year. 
Hayden loved opening so many presents! This Christmas was so different from last year, when he didn't really care about anything besides the paper.

This year's holiday was very special. We were fortunate enough to have both of our families together for the holiday. This is the first time since we have been married that we have celebrated Thanksgiving this way. It was so wonderful not to split the day between two families. We had great food and great company. It reminded us how thankful we are to be surrrounded by such wonderful family!
Last week's snowstorm provided lots of fun for my boys. Hayden and Paul shoveled, Hayden did many a face plant in the snow, and Max got covered in microscopic snowballs that he carried all over the house! 
Hayden loves to help shovel, but doesn't quite have the stamina that is takes to do the whole driveway, so he was the supervisor.
I had a fabulous birthday. Paul surprised me and took the day off and we spent some quality family time together. That night he took me to a yummy dinner, which I am still paying for at the gym!
Friday night, Jenn took me to a place for dinner in LA, called Lola's. It was great food and the biggest martini menu I have ever seen!
Saturday, Jenn, Kim and I went to the Corona Del Mar farmers market, which one is one of my favorite places. 
Sunday morning, Jenn and I went hiking in El Moro Canyon. It kicked our butts, but it was awesome.
