Trip Home

We went home for the 4th of July to see our families and friends and to tell everyone our big news, finally!! We also celebrated Paul's 26th birthday with everyone. We spent the fourth of July with our best friends, Ryan and Sarah and their little boy, Austin.

We told my parents that they were going to be grandparents by giving them "I love my grandma and I love my grandpa" picture frames. Surprised they were, and SO excited. We also told Ray and Donna by giving them a "baby" spruce tree that they could plant on their property and watch it grow as their grandchild grows. Everyone was surprised and excited. Ray and Donna will have two grandchildren born within the same month! Paul's sister is due Feb. 28th with her first child also. What an exciting month it will be for all of us!

A beautiful Colorado morning on Ray and Donna's deck. Their land is very peaceful. We were getting ready to go to church and thought we would take advantage of the morning before it got too hot.
A beautiful sunset over the mountains. It was a great visit and we miss seeing everyone on a regular basis. We would love to come home to raise our little one but wherever God wants us is where we want to be.
