Girls weekend!

I went to Orange County last weekend to visit! It was so great to see my friends and be back in California. We have missed it so much since we moved. The weather was amazing (like always) and I even got a little sun!

Jenn and Kim worked with me at CHOC in the NICU. They are such amazing girls and it was so fun to see them! Poor Kim had to work all weekend so I didn't get to see too much of her, but next time will be better!
Jenn and I went to a farmer's market in Corona Del Mar (which is like my favorite place on the planet). The flowers were beautiful and there were a ton of YUMMY samples.
The strawberries were as big as my fist!
Bread! Always a favorite!

We went to CHOC to visit some old co-workers and friends. It was so weird being back there, it felt like no time had passed and that I still worked there. It was also odd because the last time I was there I went into pre-term labor with Hayden and never went back. I wish I could have finished out my time there until Hayden was born, but it was good to go back. I got the pleasure of seeing one of my primary patients, Charlotte. She was born at 28 weeks gestation and she is amazingly, perfectly healthy! It was a great reminder of why I do what I do. I love it! I hadn't seen her since Hayden was a week old. She is such a big and beautiful little girl.

It is hard to believe that she was once this little tiny thing in an isolette.
Over the many weeks that Charlie was in the NICU, I became good friends with her wonderful parents, Jessica even took pictures of Hayden's delivery! It was so good to see them and catch up! It was such a nice getaway, but I can't wait to take Paul and Hayden with me next time!

What Hayden's been up too...

We went to Monkey Bizness to play with friends...

We learned that he is definitely our child, he LOVES coffee...
He has been going to the park a lot since we have been having such nice weather...

He still loves to "read" his books...
He also went to the Zoo for the first time...

There was a new baby giraffe!
Hayden thought they were fascinating as well!We went with Sarah and her boys Austin and Carson, thanks again for the invite!
